Innovative intros: The auditions of Clean & Clear Delhi Times Fresh Face 2015 at the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition saw many excited first-years queuing up to participate in the contest. Girls, especially, were quite upbeat about the proceedings because they knew that the two girls who win the contest get a chance to become the face of Clean & Clear. Students tried innovative ways to impress the crowd during the intro round. While Dushyant Kumar did push-ups to impress the girls, Naushad Ali told everyone that he would do whatever the crowd wanted him to during the second round.

And the winners are: Rather than showing off their dancing skills, students here recited poems and sang songs. Malhar Mohapatra recited Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem Agneepath, while some others sang a medley of English and Hindi songs. Abhishek was clearly the scene-stealer as he wowed everyone with his Rajinikanth-style dance moves, which prompted emcee Maddy to tell him, ‘You have a monster inside you’. Even DJ Khushi was impressed – he took out his phone to make a video of Abhishek’s antics on stage. After the three rounds, the winners were crowned to a huge round of applause. Shriyan Mattoo and fresh-faced Spriha Daga, who showed off her confident dance moves, were crowned the winners among the boys and girls, respectively. Shriyan even told the crowd that he wouldn’t mind cooking for his wife after he gets married, but only if she listens to some of his special terms and conditions. Poorva Chaudhary and Sahil Budhiraja emerged the first runners-up. Clear-skinned Samiksha More and Rajdeep Ta were declared the second-runners-up from the college.
